"Aff un zo" in my opinion one of the best BAP albums at all. The fourteen songs on the CD are extremely varied. The spectrum ranges from sunny reggae ("Aff un zo") about the fantastic Latin-inspired song "Shoeshine" and the thoughtful ballad "Istanbul" the uptempo rocker "Irjenden rock 'n' roll band." Particularly impressive is Track 10: "Chippendale Desch" - because demand the absolute band performance was certainly. Just awesome! Moreover, the vocal parts, particularly the vocal harmonies, over older BAP-productions have been greatly improved. Above all the posts by Sheryl Hackett (perc, voc) are absolutely first class. Among the texts I have to say that Wolfgang Niedecken is still an exception, what the observation of everyday situations ("Shoeshine", "kilometers away") as well as the processing of personal experiences ("Wat 's Johr!", "Istanbul", " Chippendale Desch ") concerns. Even a thoroughly appropriate comment to the media landscape in 2001 lacks not ("Eddie's radio show"). The album sounds then from very atmospheric with the already spiritually and very thoughtful "you alone", really worth listening to. BAP fans have already bought the album anyway, but now longer high chart placement lets hope that not only scrap is purchased. Have fun with all this great CD and the live performances in winter !!!
