Barriers to MAC address filter

First, the positive: The repeater does what it should and allows surfing in the router from remote areas of our apartment.
For the device has two connection methods: on the one hand via a Mobile App (available for Apple + Android) or via WPS. Because my older router from "Linksys" WPS does not support, I have made the setup with the mobile App. Using the Wizards configuration was completed fairly quickly and easily.

After some research I found the following solution, which worked for me:
In firmware version 1.0 (the current is V1.11) various additional information is displayed.
So, to come to this second address, I have the firmware "downgraded" to four versions of the Old. There, the additional information is displayed.
After I had the two MAC addresses now listed, I was able to update to the latest firmware version and take everything with MAC address filtering is enabled in operation.
