Besides the fact that the scale is actually very simple and beautiful, I would still advise against the purchase. I've gotten the 4.Mal changed the batteries in 2 years and we do not use cheap batteries.
As a comparison, I have for very many years a completely normal Soehnle kitchen scales in use, it takes the same batteries .... here I have no need to change 3 times the battery.
For me a clear rejection from a purely economic point of view.
