These batteries (Varta AA 2600 mAh) are unfortunately minimal thicker than standard AA batteries (Varta high enery AA) or other battery (Varta Longlife Accu, Ready 2 Use, 1600 mAh). The first is not noticeable and may not care for some applications. I wanted to use the batteries for a toy traffic the company BIG. Here, these batteries could only use light pressure and were only using pliers out again. I had this phenomenon already with another battery pack (Ansmann, Type 2500), where even after violent onset no circuit came about. Normal batteries and the aforementioned 1600 mAh battery can be used light as a feather in the same light. In contrast, these batteries are useless for my purposes.
