The battery discharges itself as fast as my age now already 2 full years in use

Ie 2 1/2 hours in use
and if I'm not on the phone for about 24 hours

When my mobile phone was new thought my old battery about 3 times as long
Therefore, I suspect that the transmitted battery is no virgin
