Unfortunately, the adapter does not work reliably with SSDs, which are larger than 250GB. Reason according to Google the lack of external power supply, as bus-powered. In my example, can be a 512GB Samsung 840pro not operate, permanent failures and spelling errors! So I had not thought of, and there is no evidence whatsoever on the manufacturer.
