The installation and commissioning (in my case SAT) is also so simple that even the expected nontechnical this hurdle without problems take through the menus easy to understand. The favorites list makes zapping in the favorite channels afterwards also very clear.
However, the path to it is not achievable without effort and time commitment when one receives the programs via satellite. Since 1500 TV channels are fast times available, the first time all pre-sorted according to their own preferences and want to be brought into the desired order. This hurdle has to take hold, if you want to charge entrust any specialist so. Each manufacturer goes as menu technically his own way, with the principle of setups ultimately with all devices is the same. A software for the PC for easy sorting is indeed apparently available, an error-free functioning of such a program but I doubt at !!!
Wenns bib, you have double the work.
But more important than the one-time setup, the picture and sound. What pleasantly surprised me, is the relatively good image quality at SD channels, in HD mode, the higher resolution gives very good pictures. One may hope for similarly good sharpness even with cable reception, but for that I have no opportunity to test. But well in DVT-operation. Here, the tuner shows slight weaknesses in sharpness. The picture here is clearly less contrast than my comparison unit of Panasonic (42-inch). But everything is still in a frame which can be described as good. The sound quality is for normal TV-operation still okay, but skin naturally due to the slim design of no Eskimo sled.
The connectivity is quite sufficient and allows connection to a HiFi system.
Smart TV functions and network connectivity (also via WLAN) are integrated, and my network HD was identified without errors, it saved images and music can be played through the TV. The pity is that the Hisense is not 3D capable when targeted purchase price.
The ability to record TV shows on a USB media in HD quality, is a great thing. If you do not want to burn his shots, the z. B. saves Bluray recorders. One for testing relied on external HD (6 years old) was immediately recognized.
Half a star I pull off because of the slight weakness in the DVB-T reception, the second half for the remote control from the ergonomic point of view is not quite as convincing.
CONCLUSION: I like the Hisense overall very good and for the projected price it is well worth a recommendation - not only as a secondary device!
