I'm with the KitchenAid bread doughs up to 1kg flour, noodles, Süßsspeisen and div. Cake batters, but also minced meat and raw salads.
It works reliably and is robust. Most of accessories has been thought out and useful, only a few things, like the juicer and the flour mill, I would not recommend.
It is important, however, that an operation of one habit that matches the machine and sometimes takes a look at the manual, otherwise you will not be happy with it.
At first, I had often problems because I got the dough too hard and I did not notice the absence of resistance (unlike hand mixer and hand kneading). This is a matter of practice and are over time. More violent rödeln the machine within the tolerance limits for flour quantities is a sure sign that you have too little or too slowly added liquid.
Unlike the work can with an electric mixer and you should really namely good conscience with the "all at once" working method from the manual that comes quickly, provides good results and prevents rumsauen the machine!
With the results I'm ready very satisfied.
Mürbteige are mixed well and can be processed well. Yeast and batters are better than with an electric mixer. Also leaven it creates good. Very much I like the noodle rolls. The mincer is practical and easy to clean, for large quantities but might have its own standalone unit sinniger. Even with the rub I can manage well. Sometimes, however, I wish even more selection at the levels of detail, for example, a thicker disc drum would be great.
Also listed here on criticisms I would like to, because some "problems" I see more than before on the machine:
If dust or splashing, turn down speed until all ingredients in the bowl and have the consistency of true halfway. Only then revving. Then there dust at best a little bit and can be seen on the splash guard actually completely without.
Depending on the dough, it may be necessary to drive the side again with the spatula along. If this is often necessary, the stirring hook should be adjusted, as this is explained in the manual - the same applies to problems with minor amounts of a la 3 egg yolks or 1 cup cream - you can - set correctly. Since the company KitchenAid gravity can not handle, you should also think about it, scrape off the beater short or too removed from the machine before the bowl. Who does not want to work on machines with dough hook from below - these have then but bowls with holes, outweigh their disadvantages in my opinion.
It is important that you bring to yourself and everyone else in the household, to keep parts of the instructions in your head. What is allowed in the dishwasher, which maximum quantities are ok, the tempo of which type of dough. All this can be found in the manual.
Anyone who can not / will which is at odds with the machine because parts anodizing, Weil dreckelt, or inconvenient happens. My experience has value, but that the other models (Kenwood, Braun) also applies.
I find the KitchenAid very good. It is solidly built, a workload, the results are very good, the accessories are installed quickly and relatively easy to rinse.
I recommend the Kitchenaid everyone they like, and sees its needs within the maximum amount of information. However, one must be aware that it is not a panacea, with which all work left slain in the kitchen at 200%. Especially the accessories are sometimes a compromise, to do a job with one device and not 10 to have it in the closet. So if you like working in the mincer, etc. or complete works with selbstgemahlenem wholemeal flour, which should still think about stand-alone devices. Your core disciplines, kneading, stirring, beating, executes them very very good. The noodle rolls are perfect and the rubbing I would still give it a 2+.
