- Superb finish. Fortunately I have not encountered the problems raised by certain users (see other reviews). The metal is soft to the touch. The screen seems to hold little finger marks (at least compared to 4S). Disadvantage of metal: the shell absorbs the sun's heat very quickly to the point where few read web pages in the sun becomes unpleasant if you have no case.
- Photo: This is sometimes excellent, sometimes bad. My iPhone 4S was less good but constant. The HTC One makes great photos in most cases, but it routinely obtains pictures completely missed, especially when there is a lot of contrast. A street in Paris under the sun, for example, will be bad: the shady part will be black and perfectly exposed sky. The 4S surexposait a little heaven to afford to get some clarity in the shadows. The HDR should compensate in these situations, but this is not the case: the color of the sky is artificial
- Timeliness: Nothing to say. All the applications I installed operate smoothly. It is very agreeable.
- Battery: It is probably more important than the 4S, but the screen is quite bigger and the processor is more expensive. Result: I get a life similar to the 4S. Nothing special either for charging.
- Touch Screen: I do not know if it's due to HTC or Android (this is my first Android), but the text selection in Kindle example is delicate. You have to press longer than on an iPhone and the selected word is not always the one desired (well, I missed my shot less often on iOS). Also, when I change the page with the thumb (by sliding from right to left), the camera does not always understand (but the screen is larger, maybe that's why). Anyway, the rest works well.
- Screen (color and definition): superb, nothing to say!
- Applications: I was afraid of not finding what I used every day on the 4S but it was unfounded. I found all my apps or variations on Google Play. We had paid again to those I had bought, of course. Note that some apps, including Kindle, are less well on Android. In the case of Kindle, there is only one highlight color (against 5 or 6 on iPhone) and you have to go through menus where iOS Simply click next. But it's the detail.
- Accessories: I found what I needed (and I paid cheaper than Apple :-)). I bought a docking station 20 or 25 euros by yourself and an extra USB cable to connect the device in the car. We can listen to MP3 HTC in the car and Bluetooth hands-free system works perfectly.
- Packaging: not very important, but note that HTC has followed Apple on that side. The packaging is very good. Note that the device comes with a USB cable, headphones and charger.
In short, good buy!
