I feel that we can not put it on the gas and it is a shame for stainless steel! It keeps the coffee hot about an hour if the coffee is full. I do not regret my purchase because I was tired of complicated coffee machines to clean! the disc is not too good filter coffee so I bought a plastic filter holder which I give when I get over the world ....! so I would say a bit too expensive because it is not so for the price!
