Beautiful design in mediocre execution ..

Like others, I am disappointed with this article a bit. The design is typical Bodum, simple and beautiful. The plastic I do not feel inferior, it's just high-gloss and matt, rubber not as you know it from other Bodum products. I think that makes many feel this water Cook as "cheap".
The color is less white, but rather creamy white. The one knows but by Bodum and I like it! It fits all my other "white" Bodum products.

In my kettle to me is the lid is not tight enough on it. What's a real shame. Especially when you consider that this part of regular 129, - will cost !! I bought it in May 2014. 79.99 and that is my pain threshold for this kettle.

The water itself is cooking here very slowly, I think. I have to make the comparison only my old Siemens kettle and began to 10sec already to "crash". This kettle is here for ages quiet (30-45sec ?!), to then ascend the first bubbles. Slightly disappointing cooking time.

I have the bill in good hands for Warranty, because somehow I do not trust the part. I'm used to from Bodum really better processing. I hope that this is no mon product here ......: - /
