I'm not talking long all around here is my review. I can recommend this jacket for the said purpose very.

Plus points:
+ Looks good
+ Easy
+ Relatively robust
+ Useful as interlayer in winter
+ Makes a normal jacket in autumn good
+ Very nice wearing comfort
+ Breathable

Negatives
- Price unfortunately as always overpriced MSRP, so wait
- Turns out a bit too small
