These lamps emit with genuine 2700 Kelvin, which is a quite pleasant atmosphere results. Nevertheless halogen lamps light color still act on something pleasant to me. However, the differences are now very small. The lamps can be easily and flicker almost turn down. Unfortunately, the fans are also in the dimmed state still audible, not loud, but for sensitive Tempers in quieter surroundings surely disturbing. Other manufacturers such as Toshiba, with whom I have made very good experiences, come as complete without fan out. Nevertheless, halogen is out, LEDs are an excellent alternative which clearly is the future.
