My nephew she got to 2nd birthday and the thing is still alive. His previous hourglass was quickly broken and had lost a wheel, so he got it here. It is stable and makes it fun. The opening in the funnel sometimes clogged something, but that's not a problem if one shakes short or uses the fingers ..
My nephew found it great!
