I had looked at many cases and there were some who would have pleased me. However, I could not imagine that leather or microfiber, how they are processed in other cases, in the summer and must be handled pleasantly outdoors permanently me. As you sweat then but quite quickly in the palm. Here Hemp is ideal, and the Eco-nique is also not nearly as catty as I had imagined.
The slot for the Kindle fits perfectly and can be up close (also a criterion that is by no means meet all cases), only with a small Velcro, which I do not know how long he would hold under extreme conditions. But since I do not intend to expose it such that is not a big drawback for me.
Neither document insertion nor scribbler-flap have been used by me, but both make a quality impression. However, I'm not a big fan of me to buy a protective cover for a more or less sensitive electronic device and stuck there then edged objects with it. Appears somewhat paradoxical to me. :-) But that can decide for themselves indeed everyone.
The look is certainly not for everyone, for me personally but they like it very much. And the Kindle is well enough protected, as I now safely grab him in bag or backpack, which I did not dare without shell. Only the magnetic button, with which the can fix "book cover", thus keeping the case closed, bit fiddly and needs some getting used to before you can close it blind. But that's now almost splitting hairs. :-)
The long and short of it: I regret buying not one bit, I'm satisfied with the product one hundred percent and can each, for which there is not an urgent need to be real leather, only recommend this envelope.

Short update from 22.02.2013:
The case is now two years old and still faithful companion. The color is a little bit faded, which does not bother me. The Velcro, which I initially thought he would let me down soon, holds like the first day. And now even the document / card slot me has become a popular accessory. Quite a good buy so, to which I can not say anything negative even today.
