Sound that is not ashamed to face a mini HIFI because the sound of this body, presence, and serious (but a slight lack of acute, alas) and a comfortable power reserve for a room.
I do not pick DAB stations in my area, so I was able to use the 20 presets (+ 3 directly accessible from the front) to the FM band.
Single memory storage system.
Good sensitivity and good selectivity. (Only the most remote stations "crackle" a little).
Easy access to presets (especially immediate 3) but too much waiting time between each preset.
Starting time too long. (Switched on by turning the knob, the display station and 4 seconds after).
The housing has a vent at the back for amplifying low so close to a wall.
No EQ, no headphone jack; radio just like old times ... with the comforts of modern electronics.
I created a brief audio file (still picture on video) to give you an idea of the sound, round and full, the position and power reserves at the end of registration (which will saturate, it is normal because this is the digital recorder which will saturate).
I did not test the use with batteries (it remains in position, so to speak;). So, connected to the mains by its transformer).
To be perfect, it would lack: instant startup, fast channel zapping, a possibility of increasing the treble, a larger display, and a real wooden formwork (which should further strengthen the sound more)..
It's still an excellent FM station (and DAB, DAB +) to warm and round that you can listen with pleasure. (Which features 23 presets).
