Kiss Me Good-Bye (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Hyperactive J-pop and bubblegum beats?
Not even close! What comes out of Japan, does not have limits always Indietronic!

Angela Aki is likely the very latest since the release of "Final Fantasy XII" and since her appearance on the big "Final Fantasy Voices" concert, in which they played live, be a household name. Only the CV of the emerging singer and composer is already a work of art in itself: 1977 born to a Japanese and an Italian-American woman in Hawaii, she learned already in zwarten age of five piano, violin and guitar, studied in Washington later and made the really big music breakthrough already in the beautiful 2000 with their first album "These Words". She speaks and sings fluently in Japanese and English and both definitely so good that you doubt always get their songs the best of both worlds to the ears!
2006, she finally succeeded another milestone in her career: his participation in the soundtrack of the role-playing game "Final Fantasy XII" for which she also wrote the tracks on this CD, composed and sang: the four vocal songs are composed of one each Japanese and an English version of the title track "Kiss me Goodbye", which also represents the vocal theme of the game (Final Fantasy XII) and impresses with Aki's beautiful and powerful voice, but also through an incredibly rousing melody. So good that the song with the vocal themes of the FF predecessors (such as "1000 Words" from FFX-2, "Suteki da ne" from FFX and "Melodies of Life" from FFVIII) can measure quite.
In addition, there are to admire two more songs: "Santa Fe" (an English track, which in comparison to the rest of the more rocking come off) and another piece called "Blue Shadow" (which is sung, despite the English title in Japanese ).
During "Kiss me goodbye" is also to be found again on Aki's album "HOME", there are the other two songs definitely only on this CD; for those interested, who want to know Aki's music and voice only once, and for fans of Final Fantasy (and particularly the latest offshoot XII of course!), therefore, definitely a must-have!
