Bin by chance stumbled only about Jonas Kaufmann, then this CD and have it summarily my nearly 80-year-old parents just once paid so. We have heard the CD all afternoon, singing along, and me they really liked. The songs are from the heyday of operetta 1925-35, and at least half I can by early childhood memories. He sings songs about love, sorrow and pleasure quite wonderful with lots of melting, drama and such a high dynamics that we constantly had to adjust volume. His singing talents is beyond any doubt. On the DVD there is a making-of, in which he seems very relaxed and personable. This has been rounded up this product for me and therefore I have few euros more for the deluxe edition also not looked back.
