For card itself:
Measured size 29GB well (which I think is perfectly fine).
Most importantly: The card is really fast after the first measurements, even with small files!
The latter is often neglected by inexperienced users, while it is for the normal operation of the card or the "perceived speed" actually the key factor!
Here are some readings, even with Crystal Disk Mark in a USB card reader:
Read for large files: 16 MB / s
Writing for large files: 12 MB / s
Read at small 4KB files: 4 MB / s
Writing at small 4KB files: 0.6 MB / s
The latter may sound low, but it is a very good value! Many loudly advertised USB3.0 flash drives have, for example for large files easy 60MB / s, at such a small but rather what in the Größenordenung of 0.1 MB / s or less !!!
Now a few values in the Android smartphone Motorola Defy as measured by the AnTuTu benchmark:
Read: 14 MB / s
Write: 10 MB / s
-----------------------------------
UPDATE: After a few weeks use I have almost 13 MB / s read and 9.5 MB / s write rate measured with AnTuTu. In my opinion, still ok!
-----------------------------------
I have to say, however, that with my previous card after some time of usage and / or high filling level, the measured values are slightly decreased.
Even on such an important longevity I can not say anything yet and will supply later the.
However, the advertising claims of Samsung let as well as hope, because the card is to be particular stable and watertight.
The also advertised magnetic insensitivity is incidentally less outstanding, all Flas memory are quite insensitive to magnetic fields ...
All in all a very nice card that I (on the current state) can definitely recommend it!
