In a nutshell the best AMD card at the time (an ATI 5770 you should not buy).
Tip for Windows XP users:
- Do not use the drivers on the accompanying CD. It was provided by AMD gefixte on the website shortly after release drivers for XP (Catalyst 10.10.b).
Tip for Vista / Seven users:
- Also load the drivers on the AMD website. Here was AMD still a lot improved.
Note for WoW players:
- The card brings far enough power, but currently AMD has with Windows XP problems with the display of the Cataclysm water. It works the water illustration, only on low details. Higher settings result in Pixelbrei (this also applies to the maps of the 5xxx series from ATI). All other settings can be operated at maximum. This will hopefully solved either by Blizzard or by a new AMD driver.
PS: there is to find on the internet to the map super tests and benchmarks.
Addendum:
Since the new Catalyst 10:12 (Release 14.12.10) the graphics problems are solved. Drivers are easy to find on HP AMD. So uneingeschänkte buy recommendation.
