On these three points, I am amazed by the Sony HX9V.
The sound and video quality is simply excellent. In particular, zooming makes no sound when taking a video, unlike Panasonic TZ7 / TZ10. It should be equipped with an SD card 30MB / s write to get the best video quality, of course.
The low light photo quality is also very good. Here too, nothing to do with the pictures of Panasonic TZ7 / TZ10 which have many noise in low light, making most photos almost unusable ...
In daylight, the colors are very well respected, no overexposure (unlike Panasonic also!).
In short, a beautiful camera of a different level than the Panasonic TZ series that relies too much on its laurels ...
Some caveats, however, but not insurmountable:
- A somewhat excessive image processing
- The button of the video, too small for large fingers
- The location of the flash (we tend to put a finger in front, but it's a matter of habit)
- No photo 3/2 (only the 4/3 and 16/9)
