Best choice for amateur photographers

First of all: I hold the camera for a terrific piece of technology, especially considering the low price.
The Alpha 37 is comparatively small, I bought me why. The handling is very good. Only with very large hands should you have some difficulties. The operation is well thought out, the menu is very extensive. But all the important parameters can be reached quickly via the Fn key.
The viewfinder covers 100 percent of the image field and is even for eyeglass wearers (viewfinder factor "standard") well suited. The display is relatively small and low on triggers. This disadvantage is offset by the hammer equipment feature (all current SLTs): Focus Peaking. When focusing manually, the sharp areas in the image are highlighted in color. The display can be tilted upwards and down, turn it can not be.
The camera is fast (turning), a shutter lag practically not noticeable. Autofocus also (with the Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC used by me lens). Will you much films, this lens is not recommended because the AF is relatively loud. Otherwise, the Sigma at the Alpha 37 is the first choice for amateur photographers. Unfortunately, the lens for a reasonable price (Sony SAL-18135 DT 18-135mm, which does not, however, brings so much focus and is more expensive. However, a little more image quality should therefore certainly be achieved.
Subjectively, the picture quality of the Alpha 37 is terrific, which is also confirmed by tests. Keeps you there easily with much more expensive cameras and will outperform it. For photobooks shots up to ISO 3200 are well used!
The way out of the hand take with the camera panning panorama I was first skeptical. With some practice, but you can quote at least thus achieve amazing, good usable results in landscape photography.
When I use the bag Lowepro Toploader Zoom 50, into which fits the camera with the Sigma 18-200 with attached lens hood. Actually, the ideal bag when the material of the back would not be so vulnerable to abrasion.
As an accessory to recommend would be the Sony HVLF20AM compact flash and the bundle Star battery for Sony NP-FW50 with Chip Info. The battery life can be extended by the way, if the camera is not constantly on and off but instead the setting to "Power Save" set to 10 seconds.

Conclusion: The price (03/2013) of 365 euros you can photo amateurs regarding this camera only guess strike. Better is you do not get in this price range currently.
