My Opinion on the TFT:
Absolutely empfehlendswerter Monitor. The image is sauscharf and the brightness is amazing. A wobbling of the screen when writing or gaming, I can state nich. The often criticized crooked foot has been eradicated by HP. The brightness distribution is good but not very good. In very dark images or when watching movies the edge area is illuminated slightly lighter, but hardly arises. The glare display makes for an incredible depth of color and excellent contrast.
To deny the mirror effect would be wrong at this point. However, should any buyer to know about this fact know if it a display with a mirrored surface anschafft itself. A mirrored display brings - like all other things also - advantages and disadvantages. There is of course weigh. I myself had for 5 years a Sony TFT with glare surface and I want this color splendor just do not want to miss. Anyone who has seen the difference between two directly juxtaposed displays will soon realize where the benefits of such TFTs are. An illegibility of signature due to reflections is me not yet happened in the light-flooded room. Even if I let shine a light from behind the screen ... who writes something, covering completely. But the subjective opinion counts yes, is not it ;-)! I have to monitor me worried mainly for playing and for the Internet. For this I need a short response time, and if possible, no side effects (ghosting, streaking). I am completely satisfied with the bids requested here benefits of HP. Gambling is a real beauty and the interpolation is truly outstanding, so that can be played super well in resolutions lower than the native. My monitor has no dead pixels or other defects. The appearance is really precious for my taste. Operation of the ODS is really solved easily and well.
The software "My Display" you can safely forget. All settings can be made on the software, you can (n) change in hardware. So if the monitor poorly evaluated, because the software is faulty, has missed the point here, SORRY ;-)! An installation of the display under WinXP was absolutely no problem. The drivers were not even needed. I use the DVI port and can report no difficulties. The pedestal is in its class really commendable, but this is very far protruding backwards and requires for this reason a lot of desk space. Can slide directly on the wall to this TFT not so. So just exactly measure it, who wants to establish this unit. The processing can be described as excellent. No creaking or crunching ... no Netzteibrummen or other things ... in short: No surprises. My conclusion: Such a display, in this price range in vain. Here one should bear in mind that it is a TN panel. There are certainly better screens than the HP. That's why my review is based on the display in this price segment of TN panels.
I'm super happy and give her no more the part.
