The mouse itself
Design & Processing, breathtaking beauty of plastic and aluminum. It lies perfectly in your hand, just feels great and comfortable. All processing is at the highest level and without defects. The mouse just goes on quite the concept, was also the predecessor so, which is why it is so now the new RGB version. Regardless of the Corsair M65 is just great with or without RGB.
Very good, I find the whole process of Alumium baseplate, on which is based the entire mouse. It's just something, tells me definitely very. Of the 3 weights, which are standardly fixed to the mouse, I have two away. Thus I have personally achieved the optimum weight. The weight can be therefore arbitrarily adjust, which I find very good.
Let's talk about the most important, the keys. For me there was previously no comparable mouse, which has been implemented in such a well thought out concept. Honestly, I placed particular emphasis on the Sniper button, from which I promised a lot to me. Previously, I had put on solutions from Logitech & Co., which I was never quite satisfied but. Because most of the Sniper button was there quite staggered and therefore not easily accessible. When Corsair M65 RGB is really optimal because the thumb is literally right on it. So you can so easily just press the keystroke what the DPI is downloaded onto minimum. Of course you can assign to the key with another property, just as you want to. Personally, I was able to, for example in Battlefield significantly improved by use but the button also no less than once in Photoshop or Lightroom.
Also, all other keys are very good. The left mouse button can be very convenient and continuous press all over the button. Compared with the right key to me the pressure point is also more sensitive, which I think is positive. After you press this button significantly more often than the right mouse button. Also the mouse wheel locks quiet and clean, the pressure point here is also very well done. About all other keys I can so far also nothing negative review, all really great. And as the name suggests the mouse, the mouse also offers the personal adjustment of colors. Via software you have the opportunity to choose all kinds of RGB colors for the mouse, a really chic thing. Mag is not something, but you can see the entire lighting also easily switch off.
Especially good on the mouse, I find that it has no soft-touch surfaces that wear out after a fairly long time. Also it probably much emphasis was placed. Thus, the upper shell of the mouse is designed smooth and shiny, which should be assessed negatively in any way. Because due to the remaining rough surfaces on the sides, the mouse keeps overall very good in the hand. Exactly, really exactly is super implemented.
Driver / function worked right away with me without further problems.
The mouse was immediately recognized and configured once by me. (Win 8.1 x64)
I use the following mouse settings:
- 2 DPI stages, 200 (Sniper button) + 1,000 dpi Normal
- Mouse speed to standard (center)
- Corner smoothing disabled
- Lifting height to Medium
Now that I have the mouse for a few weeks in operation, I can say the following:
In order to work or to gamble really fun.
The Corsair M65 RGB works reliably and precisely, even after hours.
Otherwise, the following key points:
- No Soft touch surfaces that wear over time
- Nice and clean processing with Aluminum & Plastic
- Any adjustments of all buttons and lights
- All keys very good and easily accessible
- Very good tactile feedback of the buttons
- Sniper button DELUXE (best I've ever had)
- This product i in his hand, weight adaptable
- Excellent value for money
Conclusion: Very successful mouse, with which it makes great fun to work. No matter whether you want to use the mouse in everyday life or in games like Battlefield, they seem to be a great companion to me. Personally, I hope that I will have my long pleasure. The price is justified in any event, because you actually get quite a lot for the money. Here you get good quality for a reasonable price.
Full marks! Strong buy recommendation! :-)
