It must be said clearly that Apple smartphones are easily processed significantly high than that of the Samsung series until Samsung Galaxy S5. And I do not want to say that the Galaxy series is processed worse, but if you hold the iPhone 6 in his hand, it just feels like that when you have something valuable in your hand. Since the polycarbonate rear of the S5 can not quite keep up, unfortunately. On this point, Samsung has however learned, because the new S6 can at least convince at first images far.
Another plus point I noticed after my move back from Android back, is the stability and speed of iOS. The Apps open super fast and app crashes I have only very rarely. When using my S5 I had significantly more often times the message 'contacts stopped' or generally that some apps have but needed some time to open. That the iPhone is so fast with only 1GB of RAM, just shows just how tidy is iOS. Since Android can still learn a lot. The Pure Android is indeed as fast, but the Samsung Touchwiz is unfortunately still heavily overloaded. Many apps have been there twice, unfortunately, like Chrome and Internet or GMail and EMail.
Also convinced me the display of the iPhone 6. While this has no FullHD resolution, which I find a bit sad, but the colors are very real and the white balance is also better than the S5. However, this is also different from user to user. Some prefer the strong AMOLED colors, the other natural colors of the iPhone 6 displays. In addition, the brightness of the iPhone 6 is significantly better. This allows the display to be read a bit better on summer days.
Very practical is the fingerprint sensor. I have not used the S5, while he was still a little immature worked there, of the iPhone 6 but my fingers have always recognized!
Why do I but admit in the end only 4 stars, is the reason that I lack the wow factor. Although the iPhone 3GS was released in 2009, has very little changed on iOS in my eyes and works by something 'boring' on me. Sure I can now with a train open up a shortcut menu, or pull down the bar with a wipe down, but otherwise I could not really discover much that is new, which perhaps is also because I used to the notification list for years of Android am. For others who are also times back and hergewechselt, it may be an advantage if they can easily arrive again, but my impression was it but a little clouded.
In summary, I can say that the iPhone 5 is a very good, well thought out and beautiful mobile phone, for me, a change from S5 to the iPhone but has not really worth it. I think ultimately it's just a question type. If you like the Apple ecosystem, which will be perfectly happy!
To conclude briefly the pros and cons:
+ Top Display
+ Extremely stable, fast operating system
+ Very tidy iOS
+ Top Fingerprint Sensor
+ Good camera
- IOS in my eyes quite boring
- Battery life worse than the S5
- No FullHD
