On a Storyteller's Night (Audio CD)

Customer Review

If I had to call in my opinion the ten best albums of all time, would certainly be a "Reckless" by Brian Adams, a "Love At First Sting" by the Scorpions, a "home run" of Gotthard, a "Blood From Stone" by Dare and "On A Storyteller's Night" from Magnum with you! Especially "Just Like An Arrow" it has done with, but also the title track is a rock song which "you" wrote, with a ballad-like beginning and a rocking chorus. "The Last Dance" is a beautiful ballad and made for the last track of an outstanding CD. But the Magnum classic "How Far Jerusalem" as an opener, which can be heard at every concert of the band / was, is a milestone in the history of rock. The voice of singer Bob Catley is the perfect destination for Magnums interpretation of melodic rock, the echoes of that phonogram almost to perfection from the speakers. After the band Yes evaluated first, but now together again in a slightly different cast has (though still with the duo Tony Clarkin on guitar and songwriting and Bob Catley as a singer), I can only quote a passage from the theme song : "Keep your nightlight burning" best in the style of "On A Storyteller's Night". This disc could be qualitatively reached from Magnums successor albums rudimentary in my opinion, although these are not bad.
