1998 published the synthpop giants Depeche Mode their Single Collection "DM 86-98". The band, which has nearly 20 years influenced and shaped the international music scene, one of the most important phenomena in the music business is no doubt at all, and presents this impressively with this collection prove. The CD documents the career (along with the first single collection "81-85") and the development of the four musicians. Both pieces of the former, carefree days like "Enjoy the Silence", "Strangelove" and "Policy of Truth" (which to me personally more at heart) as well as the newer, more mature songs like "I Feel You", "It's no good "and" Only When I Lose Myself "are represented in equal parts. In addition, demonstrate with Depeche Mode "Everything Counts" still impressively their live qualities. Since I am of the opinion that in every CD shelf belongs at least one Depeche Mode CD, I can only recommend this album to anyone. (This is an Amazon.com at the university-student review.)
