I have me and a colleague of mine in the context of civilian bought this unit because we were funny and in our ZiviBussen a clever system wanted without starting a huge remodeling equal. So we have a bus a Logitech 2.1 and 2.1 tinkered conditioning in the other a Bose and powered by this voltage transformer with power. Both plants were given as 100W, so the 300W converter this were more than adequate. For practical reasons we were able to connect the converter in just a bus directly to the battery, comply with the other had the cigarette lighter, so that the maximum power decreased to 150W. In the end, we had installed only with these converters, some tape and cable ties powerful systems with excellent sound in our buses, with very low cost. All batteries, fuses and transformers remained unscathed and the alarm in case of low battery voltage prevented at some point stands with a dead battery and no longer comes from the spot. Only one of the two transformers was briefly weaken: In cold temperatures (for cold nights in the morning), the fan did not run around, and therefore made a little louder sounds. The weaker aeration led but then quickly to temperature rise inside the unit, causing the problem disappeared. A problem whose only consequence is the cancellation of the selfsame problem is not a problem, so no points deduction.
In conclusion, if only sporadically times requires a socket in the car over a reasonable period of time or, which is this device is highly recommended with a lot of power for low price, who wants a long-term use, should invest some more money in one of the higher quality alternatives maybe.
