Best quality and versatility - Weck's cult :-)

A wake - fall glass 3/4 Liter weighs around 535 grams with glass lid and has a height with glass lid of about 15 cm.
Below the glass has approximately a width of 8.5 cm, the slightly raised seal groove has at the top of a diameter of about 10 cm = 100 mm, therefore the term round edge 100 (with Weck there are 3 sizes of glass lid and matching Einmachgummis round edge 60, round edge 80 and round edge 100).
When filling a 3/4 liter has about 2 cm air to the upper edge.

The matching 100 Cling-cover, for example, for the fridge. These of course are not intended for the canning because they do not seal hermetically.

My wife and I have the Weck glasses for their quality (of kochfest to freeze), easy care (eg dishwasher, boiling, etc.) and versatility in the use of very learned to appreciate.

The wholesomeness of food storage in glass, the time actually unlimited longevity of Weck glasses and avoiding general garbage (Metal Closures etc) speak for this eco-friendly system.

We use the camber shape for boiling down to load vegetables lactic or even in the refrigerator aufzbewahren as easy and hygienic to clean kefir culture glass, for cooked foods (eg also for taking along to the office, then the wake sealing rubber and metal clips) etc.

Criticisms I have no - only for loading milk sour vegetables I'd still like to see 3 to 5 liter sizes.

Now that we are very satisfied for some time with the preserving jars - a very strong buy recommendation :-)
