The new model is compared somewhat lighter and more compact and the sound has become a bit better. The old model was a bit of the feel-quality and had a practical reflection stripes - that could have been kept quiet, but does not lead to deduction of points. I particularly like the new angle plug - that prevents cable breaks.
The headphones do not slip due to their design, even in wild jumping around and the comfort is very good. Cable sounds are actually heard little - if one carries out the cable under the running shirt or fixed with the enclosed terminal and can not dangle freely. The position of the wired remote control I find unlike other reviews not disturbing - even if this was attached a little further down on the cable on the former. Anyway, I'm running with the headphones even in the pouring rain period - which is never a problem.
I use the phone with my Windows Phone. Here everything works (play, pause, forward, back) to the volume control - but that is not due to Sennheiser, but simply to the fact that the manufacturer can not agree on a single standard. Is also not so tragic, because I already have to readjust often.
Conclusion: If you absolutely hassle free sports recreation without having to constantly fiddle with verrutschenden headphones, will find no praxistauglicheren headphones.
