Best superzoom I've ever had

Admittedly, I was more than skeptical - a push with this zoom range at a D90 but no good ... The first positive comments in the DSLR forum encouraged me then but to order the lens. With Amazon not a big risk. I had previously (last 18-200 VR Nikon) and have all sold already megazooms all makes and model years back. Even if you still could have lived with the Nikon 18-200, at the Tamron 18-270 it does not come close. The distortion at Tamron keep yourself in 18 mm in borders and the contrast and sharpness convince me throughout the zoom range. While the image from 200 mm seems somewhat less defined but thanks to image processing that is not really a problem. Absolutely thrilled I am by the image stabilizer. Although the audible but done really well for his work, in my opinion even better than the Nikon VR system. The processing of the lens is very good. The zoom ring turns Although not very smooth, but that's to be expected in the number of moving lens groups. The lens hood makes compared to the low parts supplied lately by Nikon a durable and robust impression.
My advice: Buy! As far as focal length with as little compromise has currently no other manufacturer. Compared to the mega zoom still 2 years ago, the Tamron 18-270 mm is a huge leap forward.
