Better is the Big Brother!

I purchased the lens in a context, as I switched of zoom lenses to fixed focal lengths. So I know the EF 70-200 F2.8L without image stabilizer (had a very sharp and Adjusted copy). The performance of the EF 300 F4 L IS USM is the Zoom clearly superior not only in terms of focal length (compared stupid!), Special especially in the sharpness slightly and bokeh. I had at the 300 never had this ugly bokeh cases that has sometimes produced the Zoom. The image stabilizer is an older generation, yet but already helpful, particularly also because the viewfinder Canon and Nikon Typical (IS lens!) Is having stabilized. The focus ring is simply better edged an idea and still running sensitive. Very much I love the built-in lens hood, which can firmly screwed only moving up when required and easily. Go easy and smooth and if you do not need, you can use the lens hood retracted state with a large focus ring. What would sometimes miss owners of Big Brother EF 300 F2.8L IS USM, is the low minimum focusing distance of 1.5 meters.
