I bought this charger for my battery NP-BD1, because I have lost the original charger by Sony.
After the first charge the battery with this unit, however this has not stopped working. The digital camera does not recognize the battery and brings a message that it adheres to an incompatible battery - which indeed is not true. According to a seller of a specialty shop that's probably a scam from Sony.
So: Stay away from the charger when the battery still continue to want to use!
