I've bought the part in order to optimize the reception via DVB-T. Using this part the my TV menu shows clearly better values ​​under "Signal Strength" and "Signal Quality" as without, so I will use it and leave it connected. The controllability makes sense, you should try. The reception is better than without in any case.
