I bought because of the good reviews and the relatively low price, but to me this costume. To size - I myself am 171cm tall and now not necessarily slim, but not thick. And 52-54 actually fit well. The costume itself is clean and well packed and is of better quality than you would expect. It smells - as already described here - strongly of chemicals and / should be washed lifted slightly, the latter only by hand accordingly. Although many beautiful buttons are present, the entire costume is closed with Velcro. But this is not a flaw, but in the case of boots saver rather an advantage, because they are so flexible with regard to different thigh "Dimensions". Although this slip while wearing tight despite applying always happy times down, but 2 safety needles solve the problem already. A pair of pants is - contrary to the image - not supplied. Regardless, black jeans underneath is sufficient. And so it has also still the same bags. Because the costume itself has not, to this "belt bags", in which I now did not want to put cell phone or purse. The tunic and boots savers are well made and not made of any material cost. The gloves are relatively thin and have quite fragile seams. But if you do not have sausage fingers, no problem. Thus, where a lot of light because it is known also plenty of shade. Therefore, I now come to the not so pleasant things; the strap that goes across the chest looks cool, but is unfortunately of relatively thin material. This is actually no shortage per se, but the big picture dims somewhat, the rest is still significantly higher quality. Yet we must not forget what the costume will cost you. What has by far but most let me down on this costume, is the hood. Actually, one of the key elements. Because that is au made a simple, thin cloth and just looks grottig. I had there in several places with a sewing machine in-law ran because the hood on her head had a square shape. It looked more like surgical hood. So the sides remote from the inside a little scarce and therefore "round" made. That was then visually reasonably. After a whole night, I can only give a "poor" the hood but still. They constantly slipping, backwards, forwards, sideways. If a slight gust of wind, she flies from the head. Something more robust material remedy could have done here. I then spent the last night with no cover on the Prunksitzung, which indeed is not the intention. One can compare the quality of the substance as a dishtowel. Who does not have at least one highly polished bald head, goes mad with this hood. The longer the hair is, the worse the hood sits. Let's see if there is somewhere more significant spare.
Conclusion: I would buy the costume, despite the aforementioned small things at once. It is processed real quality and thus holds certainly longer than a carnival season through. With one, two daggers / swords "garnished" a very great costume. Only the hood obscures the overall picture a little.
