As a substitute I bought the Kaiser 52mm cover with Snapon and backup tape. The cover looks more robust than the original, the spring is tighter and so sits the lid as opposed to the original bombproof.
When cord Kaiser has obviously touched up: it is already threaded on delivery. You seem to be longer and more robust than in the picture on Amazon. The new cord also has a very nüzliches small detail: it is about 5 cm connected by cord end with a Klip, wodruch the two cords much less tend to get tangled. I think it's great, if care is taken in as a eigtl simple accessories to such details. The cord affects the way also considerably more robust than the Nikon-original.
who wants to protect the lens really sure its Coolpix (or comparable cameras) should purchase the Kaiser lid, a small but very meaningful output.
