We bought this game as a substitute for the more than bad Mario Party 8. I will then make every now and then a comparison.
Graphics: (3.5 / 5 stars)
The graphics has become very clean for Wii ratios. It rarely dive on the famous podium and the backgrounds all look very good. The animinierte Mr. Monopoly also comes across well. When compared to Mario Party 8 Monpoly offers a 16: 9 mode and the 480p resolution. Everything in the game is a natural behind the Wii possibilities.
Sound: (3.5 / 5 stars)
The sound is quite well so far. On each board there is another music that then stop the whole game is running long. After a while you could wish for but then you could change the music times. A more or less nice extra is the talking Mr. Monopoly. He tells to all that you're doing something. The first round is quite funny, but after a while his comments echo endlessly and unfortunately there is no function to switch off the voice.
Control: (4/5 stars)
The controls are quite simple. As a rule, most of it is done with the Pointer function and the A Button. At the auctions you can also bid by holding up the Wii Remote, but nice lead now and to fail offered again, because even the slightest movement already leading to bid. In the Croesus-Edition there are mini-games in which the Wii Remote similar to (the few) movement games in Mario Party 8 is used.
Scope: (4/5 stars)
In the main menu you have to choose between the normal first Monopoly edition or Croesus-Edition.
If you have done this you only have to choose at the Monopoly edition a game board. Once you have chosen then the number of players (1-4 players) and number of computers (0-3 computers), you have the possibility to file a lot to the game rules. When Croesus edition you choose between 3 game modes. Each has different, set, match rules. All in a rich the game boards from completely and let it be said that here is more necessary than it did 8 Mario Party!
Pro:
+ Beautiful, varied game boards
+ Clean graphics
+ Many options for the rules of the game
+ Plenty of scope for many fun games evenings
+ Funny New Croesus mode
+ It can not be fudged
Contraindications:
- Speech not be switched off by Mr. Monopoly
- For sensitive motion control at auctions
- Do not ever understand what made computers have (Info window is missing)
- Something a few mini-games at the Croesus-Edition
All in one has become truly Monopoly. At least it'll make us much more fun than Mario Party. 8
Who is looking for an entertainment game for all the family, can be truly happy with Monopoly.
