Here are my experiences, but refer only to the image quality when shooting.
Photos outdoor were sometimes made in "ISO AUTO" with unnecessarily high ISO values.
You can set the ISO speed manually but in such a case. Unfortunately there is no "ISO-Max" - setting.
The photos have a visible sharpness waste to the outer edge, but almost disappears with longer focal length at the wide angle.
One can also notice slight color fringing in the corners.
There is little visible distortion throughout the zoom range. Probably the camera are corrected internally.
Here you can already see a light at ISO 100 noise in the darker areas of the image and slightly frayed contours.
The artifacts are negligible but if you want to make any meter poster, for all
falls on only when you look at the picture in full resolution. Then it would be about 1150 mm in size on a monitor.
Overall, I'm very happy with the result. My expectations for the camera were in any case exceeded.
Very interested had me also how the camera works in low light conditions.
Since I was very surprised. I have portraits made with ISO 1600, which are quite presentable.
Although the photos are a bit soft, but that's mostly even desired in portraits.
Even with the appearance of colors can be satisfied easily.
I highly recommend this small and lightweight camera as a constant companion very.
Size max. 100 x 58 x 22 mm, weight 147g completely.
In the appendix a photo with ISO-1600, from my dark corner office. Once the overview, and even a 1: 1 cut.
Aperture 4.5 / 1/13 sec.
Sensitivity ISO-1600
Focal Length 67mm (KB)
And two 1: 1 cut-outs,
the one with my "precious compacts" the four times the cost.
The other with the Ixus 265 HS
