Gradually Nicki drifting but then towards pop off and let the Underground and their Mixtape times slightly.
With growing rum and pressure to succeed the sound was slightly adapted, collaborations with uA Madonna followed.
The requirements for 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' therefore were high because fans and Valuers well-made hip hop's expect a fair successor to the successful debut.
What one can say in vorherein about 'Roman Reloaded' is that it is adapted to a lot and it is aimed not only oriented to a rap fan group:
---------------------------------
01. Roman Holiday: Opera-Hop with a catchy chorus. Good opener but the long term not fancier. Very harmonious Breakdown towards the end. (3/5)
02. Come On A Cone: Sounds more like my kind of old Mixtape Nicki. Good rhythm and Rapfluss, the "Dick In You Face" Part has earworm potential. (4/5)
03. I Am Your Leader (feat Cam'ron & Rick Ross.): Good Beat, top Rhymes, very catchy, would have hit potential. Cam'ron steals the show here clearly. (4/5)
04. Beez in the Trap (feat 2 Chainz.): Geiler minimal bass / beat, clever text. 2 Chainz is mercilessly - his verse could have been without. (4/5)
05 HOV Lane: Something Poppigerer rap, is not among the Höepunkten. If you skippt not missed here. (2.5 / 5)
06. Roman Reloaded (feat. Lil Wayne): Good Beat, Nicki's Rappart is top notch - Lil 'Wanye delivers as always ne solid performance. No more no less. (3/5)
07. Champion (feat Nas, Drake, Young Jeezy &.): The new 'Moment 4 Life'. Beautiful Refrain + Beat and all 4 rappers harmonize together perfectly. Nas delivers here the climax (4/5)
08. Right By My Side (feat Chris Brown.): Sounds like 'Your Love', which supplies Chris Brown Part but not much is a nice addition. (2.5)
09. Sex in the Lounge (feat Lil Wayne & Bobby V.): The previous low point. Chorus with slight Fremdscham warranty. Strangely RnB Beat and no special power of any of the parties. (1/5)
----
Whoever hears 'Roman Reloaded' for Nicki's rape, the next 8 tracks now skip like. For what now follows wol is rather addressed to a different group of people than to the inclined HipHop handset.
10. Starships: Typical RedOne product, happy pop beat with a little pushy breakdowns between the stanzas. Good mood and is good for in between. (3/5)
11. Pound The Alarm: Another Pop / House / Dance Hybrid, same as in Starships. Very interchangeable and textual total failure unfortunately. (3/5)
12. Whip It: If you did not know that Nicki Minaj sings here, you would recognize it immediately. Again very interchangeable and directed back to a party-goers crowd. (2.5)
13. Automatic: Sounds like from the 90s with the typical dubstep breakdown in the middle. Comparable to 'On The Floor' by J.Lo. Unfortunately, not even enough ran to mediocrity. (2/5)
14. Beautiful Sinner: Weak Euro Dance, unfortunately more annoying as somehow acceptable. Nothing special, can be skipped without remorse. (1/5)
15. Marilyn Monroe: lard as from the lexicon, typical Rihanna RnB ballad. Nevertheless, all in all very catchy. (3/5)
16. Young Forever: could also be a Britney song. Very catchy but very interchangeable. (2.5 / 5)
17. Fire Burns: Sounds like a TLC song from the late 90's. It's perfectly alright. (2.5 / 5)
18. Gun Shot (feat. Beenie Man): A little dancehall and Raggea influences, Beanie Man steals Nicki mercilessly the show and impressed the track immensely. (3/5)
19. Stupid Hoe: again last a knotless Rap Song For good. Bitter lyrics, driving beat and harmonious end. (3.5 / 5)
---------------------------------
Conclusion: All in all, 'Roman Reloaded' is a double-edged sword. The slightly open target audience will definitely have fun, but Nicki fans of the first hour might be a little disappointed in the second half of the album.
The somewhat cheap-looking mainstream part of the album but destroyed the generally very positive impression of the album.
Nicki can still deliver if it does what it can also: rap.
The Gesangseinladen seem a bit forced, a pity that they so go with the flow and thereby loses some credibility.
