The Gilette Venus Embrace Snap was provided along with the Venus Sensitive for testing. Comparing the snap cuts worse. The blades of the two are almost identical with their advantages and disadvantages:
The durability of the blade could not make out in this short test time. But I have noticed the following things: The skin feels very soft and smooth after shaving on. The blade cuts a nowhere and leaves no skin irritations, thanks to the integrated humidity bands. After a few applications, however, this is already beginning to dissolve, so that the effect also decreases. But what has always bothered me, and most of the blade, is the bad possible cleaning. The 5 closely spaced blades tend to clog rapidly during shaving. The hairs accumulate in between and can not be completely removed even under a jet of water. In addition, also by the moisture band deviates increasingly on - a vicious circle!
In addition, the blade compared to my previous Wilkinson Sword razors is very large and not very maneuverable. This more remote corners are not really well achieved and the result at these points is not clean!
The biggest drawback for me is however the strong shortened grip, which is only meant for thumb and index finger tips. This razor is bad or rather not in his hand and the application is a very shaky when I quickly lost his nerve when the razor had left for the 6th time in a very short time on the shower floor.
All in all, only remains for me the blade on the handle Sensitive to set, so that it can come to a more comfortable use! ML
