So I clicked through times and met with the bike helmet from Carrera. On the Edge I noticed first that he neither looks like the headgear of Calimero, nor how to use the helmet of a fighter pilot from a sci-fi movie. So before not bad. The color orange I found very extravagant. Is just an Italian helmet that set trends in fashion :-) So just from the cart for around 65 EUR - once soured and since then, since I could not make up my mind and I also had the problem in the time To move next season. In between, there was the helmet but in winter for fabled 40 EUR to buy, which is why I then ordered him. Helm arrives, I unpack and BÄNG, the Orange's a little orange as you could guess it. With the Edge you will be highly visible. Well, unobtrusive appearance also was not so on my wish list, and there is also the Carrera Edge also in other colors. The helmet itself is well made. Except for the sign there to the helmet no sharp edges or transitions. The neck protection goes far downward and is black. The vents are very generously sized incl. Neck area and complement each other in their shape and positioning of the rest of the design of the helmet perfectly. So an eye-catcher is the all. Inside the helmet a variety of small Stoffpads are not as often glued or attached with Velcro, but it is only a cohesive fabric upholstery found at the top of the head. The upholstery on the helmet size adjustment is achieved via permanently connected Kunstoffpads what I personally find better for the cleaning and the longevity. The helmet size adjustment is a delicate design with a small wheel, which can however be easily operated when wearing a helmet. Functionally fine. The straps and the buckle function well incl. The adjustment. But this was now not reinvented here, but also corresponds to other good helmets. Comfort I would classify as good, which I can now lack experience, not compared to a high-end helmet. The ventilation is working fine, thanks to the already mentioned large air vents. So you can imagine it already, the helmet has a satisfied buyer found who can recommend the Carrera Edge definitely.
