Just in time for Christmas was the large excavator in 2 major parts wrapped under the Christmas tree for the small excavator fetishists family (2 years, 2 months). The joy of the excavators was hard to stop, and since then the little runs regularly and with great joy with the excavator about, even if he is not hinbekommt it to 100%, but more on that more. Assembling, etc .: The pasting of the excavator using the supplied stickers works fine - depending perfectionist claim of adherend. :) Overall, however no action. More interesting is then already the assembly of excavators and bucket arm, for a hammer (also according to instructions!) Is required. It must be driven by the side a metal pin through some (close!) Plastic holes of the excavator chassis, which is not quite unfummelig. But with a bit of technical skill should be also done in 3 minutes. In gratitude SHOULD (long-term experience, we have not yet), this pin does not dissolve due to the corresponding clamping again and keep the whole construct long. Overall, the excavator makes a very strong impression - what the purchase was also very important for me and I am glad not to have been disappointed at this point, because the little slob really gets all broken into what he gets no fumble fingers. Since this time, but the toy in relation to the finger is very large, I have the hope that the excavator wins. :) So far, it leaves the continuous wet weather not to, to dredge in the playground with real sand - I think that is that again the highlight. Where it probably is for the little nor too complicated to use the excavators for ambidextrous-to-use blade arm that really comes sand from A to B ... But from there it can be assumed that the excavator even in the medium to long term remains interesting and motor development of the Juniors will not hurt either. At this point, something to initially addressed the issue not yet perfect driving: Since the seat / structure of the excavator's rotatably mounted on the wheels, is rarely the front of the excavator / driver in the direction of travel of the wheels nose. This provides (yet!) For confusion because of the excavators of course can not drive straight to the wheels. I must say that the dredging almost anything is suitable for a little older children, where it then could be the seat a bit tight ?! What I would hope by manufacturers, would be a metal splint, the one stuck from top to bottom through the chassis and floor pan may take measures to prohibit turning of the upper part. Then smaller kids could go more easily. I think I'm going to something like "upgrade" itself ... But even this little thing will not harm the motor development.
Fact and Conclusion: A super fun, motorized partly still a bit too challenging for younger children, what the fun factor but does not detract !! Anytime again - especially for the price!
