Much earlier than expected lay TI after his hit album "King." his new album after "TI vs. TIP". Therefore, the questions were justified, if it was not too early and whether TI is not more time should have left. But they were unfounded. The theme to combine several personalities of on an album is not the latest (Cassidy did in 2004 with "Split Personality"), but a good idea that something brings variety. The album begins with TIP, the personality of the road. The very first song "Big Shit Poppin '(Do It)" is really cool. The slow beat is simply bombastic and TI raps about perfect with his slightly raspy voice. Even the rather quiet "Since Dopeman" has become very horny. The first guest star we had with Jay-Z on "Watch What You Say To Me", a very cool and chilled out song, in which both TIP and the Jiggaman can fully convince with their casual Rhymes. The highlight of the TIP part is clearly "Hurt" with Alfa Mega and Busta Rhymes. The instrumental is hard and fast, just really cool and also the performances, in particular, are of old master Busta Rhymes simply top notch. Now the TI part, extending around the successful rapper, the "King" of the South, turn begins. Let's go with the meaningful, yet more ridiculous "Help Is Coming". Even here both Beat and TI's flow are again perfect, but the lyrics, in which TI describes itself as "The Man Who Save hiphop", are probably more than wrong. A win awesome track's with "My Swag" feat. Wyclef Jean immediately next. The quiet, melodic beat is really a bomb and TI, who sings half, half raps, provides for me the best performance of the album. Only Wyclef does not fit perfectly with his singing on the song. Although the idea is with the scratchy, reggae-inspired songs not bad, but TI would in my opinion rather to commit one of the Marley brothers it. Again a little harder you go with "We Do This", in which TI is reset to be alone, to. Also this track is simply a hammer, as actually all the rest of this disc. So I was the only just want to "touchdown" feat. Eminem received. Again a quiet chill beat, to the Rhymes of TI and Slim Shady. A Dream !! I am God knows no Eminem fan, but I must confess that it has gained with this song some credit with me and for me is the best feature of "TI vs. TIP". As I said, well, the entire rest of the album, particularly the fat "Tell 'em I Said That" and "Respect This Hustle", is also flawless and outstanding. TI has therefore proved that he is also able to produce two absolute top albums within two years. Only be completely exaggerated King-of-the-South-posturing is not only ridiculous but also quite disrespectful to legends like Bun B, Scarface, Master P and Lil Wayne. However, I allow myself now not greatly affect them, but enjoy the good beats and its clock accurate flow. Because all this is perfect, TI gets the highest score from me, for an album in which every song is really successful. For all South and TI fans an absolute must, but also anyone else should make this album on the shelf. It is worthwhile in any case.
