History to mark the occasion to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the publication of this jewel signed Miles Davis, Sony Music released this year a beautiful box. If this record was very badly received when it was released in 1970 (the trumpeter Wadada Leo Smith had not himself loved, but will reconsider some years later ...) is that the auditor rightly, the feeling of listening to a double album where musicians do not know where to go. Yet that beauty in harmonics tablecloths! Certainly Bitches Brew is very abstract, but also has incredible flashes. Music is inhabited, Miles seems himself possessed (Miles Runs The Voodoo Down), the fact remains that Bitches Brew has a timelessness as indefinable as marked.
