Kool Keith is one of the most colorful and fascinating personalities in the Hip-Hop business. On "Black Elvis / Lost in Space" They really bubble over with ideas. Whether spaceships ("Lost in Space"), robots (I'm seein Robots), the life of record label owners (Girls Do not Like the job) or by rock stars (Black Elvis), no issue is too outlandish as that Keith is not about rappers could. Wonderfully as he on "Girls Do not Like the Job" takes the arrogance of many managers on the arm ("Do not Give me feedback - I do not need that"). Even as he drags in the intro with relish about the quirks of many rap stars, is absolutely unbeatable. It is all done through consistently thick synth beats, some of which indeed sound a bit repetitive, but overall fully match the futuristic theme of the album. Thanks Kool Keith's excellent powers of observation and his biting sarcasm counts this album certainly one of the most exciting hip-hop works of recent years.
