Black or white?

About 7 months after the release of the previous album (The White Pixel Age), Shaka Ponk is already back with a smashing album! If both albums were composed at the same period (during convalescence singer following a leg injury), "The Black Pixel Ape" turns darker lyrically than its predecessor. Level music, even if it does not reach the electro-rock slap we gave "The Geeks & The Jerkin 'Socks" (their best album for my taste), this new album, more rock oriented, is excellent.
Take a listen to "On the Ro '", "The Way Out" or "Time Has Come", they are future hits in power!
Shaka Ponk has managed to impose a style of its own and this last album shows us once again that it is a major group of current French rock scene.
