1. Valkyrie Missile: A serious message, packaged in a spherical, yes, almost mystical sound, which slowly but surely developing into a softer style Rock 'n' Roll.
2. Distraction: Marching Drums provide the intro for voltage until Tom gets going: "I'll be your distraction!" The guitars do with, you have the feeling of freedom.
3. Do it for me now: A typical "Rock 'n' Roll Love Song". Much text, but the music also will not miss out. Once again shows Tom DeLonges songwriter talent.
4. The Adventure: The first single. One gets when listening to sing the need and playing air guitar. Great song!
5. A Little's enough: No more striking song, yet a Great semi-ballad.
6. The war: By far the heaviest song on the album. Punk guitar, paired with an anti-war text. As "Vamos a la playa" but just in Punk.
7. The Gift: Just as "A Little's enough".
8. It hurts: heartbreak ballad. In the Bridge ("Sherrie, do you want it, too?") Recalls the melody to "The War".
9. Good day: is the guitar riff at the beginning of the same as in "The Adventure", the text is just right for relaxing.
10. Start The Machine: Just like "the war" an anti-war piece.
Besser has never been an album left off.
Conclusion: Great lyrics, Mega melodies, a singer with talent. What more could you want ??? actually
