- Design Technically, it is very striking because the optics are simply unfamiliar to a microphone.
- With regard to the size, I was pretty surprised: In the pictures the microphone roughly acts as big as a tennis ball, actually a small piece of the ball but bigger!
- The sound is so far satisfactory, although not suitable for any purpose. Thus, for example, is well understood in the voice chat, but sounds a bit as if you were talking to a tube (as a feedback from the perspective of the audience).
- The recording instruments via the micro-I imagine cumbersome. In other words, I mean that you should this better but directly through a preamp (USB) take on the computer or resorting to corresponding built for instrument recording microphones, otherwise you will not be happy here. ;)
- To record individual sounds to the microphone in my opinion, is not suitable, unfortunately, also: It takes too many true tones. A barely audible, extra quiet PC fan flows so as a permanent noise into the recording.
All in all I find the device very well as an alternative to the headset voice chat.
For shooting with no distractions such as talking in the next room, etc. However, the device is rather useless.
