Alas I confirm the previous comments for this series Bodum teapot.

Glass is indeed too fragile. Doing the dishes this weekend that has cracked over a good width when the steel filter touched during disassembly for cleaning. And yet it was a little shock :-(
Poor quality of glass in this series? Surprising for the Bodum ... Yet I have other tea / coffee / drinks of this trademark without the worries of this kind (hopefully!).

Otherwise this teapot was nice to use (to make tea and pour it) and she was perfectly fine with my Bodum coffee the same style, even if the cover was a hassle to remove and replace.

Any way this model is no longer in the catalog Bodum (we understand why now may be - fragile glass / cover a hassle to handle ...).
A shame considering the price yet asked for this article ...

I recommend instead the newer models such as the Bodum Assam Version (pump with stainless steel filter or not) which is very well and resists for now ...
