I have to say: In such a movie I've been waiting a long time! Since I was the last Disney productions a bit too shallow, I was pleasantly surprised by "The Emperor's New Groove". When I looked at him myself with a few friends at the movies (and we were the only young people! The rest of the audience was under 10!), I was really just a few minutes such trouble, stop laughing, that surprised all children looked around to me. In my view, after they could not understand the whole hidden notes and self-deprecating gags! Anyway, I went on that day "groovy" in the movies and had the feeling that they have since long time seen a really good movie. The soundtrack was just great and I found it quite pleasant that finally did not start all the characters of the film as a musical, to sing a little song. The title song "Perfect World" by Tom Jones that has unfortunately Germanized, you can still live quite well. What I'm also the positive side, the individual characters are. Especially Kuzco is fantastic: Normally Disney heroes are presented as perfect, friendly and nice, but otherwise Kuzco: He is selfish, spoiled and vain ... not just the typical hero. And yet you can in the course of the film make friends with him and with a fever even if he fights with Izma end to the potion. In this film also is striking that there is no love story. But I think that this would also only from the actual theme of the film, friendship and respect, distracted. All in all, "The Emperor's New Groove" to "The Little Mermaid" my absolute favorite !!!
